How Do I Apply?
Visit our Vendors Hall Page on our website!
The application period is announced via social media as well as our Vendors and Artist mailing list, Vendors and Artists can request to be added to the mailing list by contacting vendors@animenebraskon.com.
When can I apply as a Vendor or Artist?
The Vendor’s Hall and Artist Alley application period are typically held each spring after the Anime NebrasKon venue and dates are officially announced.
Artist Application deadline: April 5th.
Vendor Application deadline: April 26th.
What happens if I miss the application deadline?
Unfortunately, we will not be able to accomodate applications after the deadline has passed. However, we would be more than willing to add you to our application period mailing for future Vendors’ Hall years.
What happens if my application is declined?
Unfortunately, we can’t accommodate everyone, but if you do not get accepted, there are alternatives. Vendors and artists can request to be placed on a waitlist based on availability in case a booth or table becomes available last minute. The waitlist will factor an artist’s proximity to the venue as well as time remaining before the event to fill empty booths or tables. Artists also have the opportunity to have their art sold by our Vendors’ hall staff through the Art Auction, and can possibly win an Artist Alley table through our Art Contest as well.
Who picks the Vendors Applicants?
The Vendors’ Hall applications are screened and chosen by our Vendors’ Hall staff based on the amount of booths available, the different kinds of vendors present that year, and the quality/variety of goods sold. The Vendors are then given a final review by Anime NebrasKon directors before the final announcement.
Who picks the Artist Alley Applicants?
Since it is more difficult to determine the best artists for our Artist Alley, Anime NebrasKon has a group of staff leadership participate in the Artist Selection Process. You can learn more about that process here.
Am I allowed to sell fanart?
Yes, Anime NebrasKon encourages artists to sell their own fan works at our convention. However, each artist is held liable for use of the fan work’s intellectual property, and is subject to damages by the rights holder in the event of a cease-and-desist or litigation based on the materials produced.
Can I sell 3D printed art?
Yes, Anime NebrasKon allows Vendors and Artists to sell 3D-printed items. However, in the event that a vendor or artist is selling a printed item that is plagiarized or sold without license or permission from the original creator then Anime NebrasKon reserves the right to review the files used for said item. If it is determined the vendor or artist has plagiarized or used a file without license, they will be asked to remove the item from being sold at penalty of being removed from the convention. All other Vendors’ Hall terms and conditions apply to 3D prints sold within the convention.
